Giles County Sheriff's Department's Investigator Michael Thomason, Deputy Wayne Rudd and a Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputy was assisting Deputy U.S. Marshal's execute an arrest warrant at 2082 Shuler Branch Road in North West Giles County yesterday.

The Marshal's executed 'failure to appear warrants' out of Lauderdale County Alabama on 31 year old Kevin Butcher and 26 year old Jennifer Butcher. The Butcher's failed to appear on Methamphetamine related charges in Alabama.

While on the property officers discovered items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Investigator Thomason said it appeared that there have been several Methamphetamine labs operated at the property due to the amount of discarded waste from the process. The investigation continues as Investigator Thomason continues to gather evidence.

A clean up team was called to dispose of the hazardous waste left from the manufacture of the methamphetamine. Charges are forthcoming. The Butcher's signed waivers of extradition and transported to jail in Alabama by the U.S. Marshal's.
