Police found more than 700 Marijuana plants during a drug raid Wednesday, leading to the arrest of a 44-year-old man from the Rochester area.
The Indiana State Police found the plants at a home in the 4200 block of South 225 West during the morning investigation, according to a press release.
They also searched a second home owned by the suspect in the 10500 block of East 50 North, near Knox. There, they found handguns and cash, along with Marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police say the Fulton County home appeared unoccupied and was used for the growing operation while the suspect stayed in a camper on the property.
The man was taken to the Fulton County Jail and faces charges that include dealing marijuana. Additional criminal charges may be pending in Starke County.
Several police agencies assisted in the investigation, including Rochester Police and the Fulton County Sheriff's Department.
