IOWA CITY, Iowa - A raid on an Iowa City house has resulted in drug charges being filed against two residents.
According to police, Crack Cocaine, Marijuana and Ecstasy was found in the residence of 26-year-old Nicholas T. Mays and 21-year-old Kalsy A. Williams. In addition to the drugs, $12,000 in cash, a scale, packaging materials and other drug-related items were found in the home.
According to police, investigators conducted surveillance before the raid and observed what appeared to be multiple drug transactions.
Williams and Mays were charged with keeping a drug house, possession of Crack Cocaine, Marijuana and Ecstasy with intent to deliver. They were also charged with two counts of possession or distributing a taxable substance without a tax stamp.
Williams and Mays were being held Tuesday in the Johnson County Jail on $50,000 cash-only bonds.
