Martel Construction is challenging the Montana Contractors' Association in a matching gift campaign, agreeing to match donations up to $50,000 from members of the Montana Contractors' Association.
The money will help the Montana Meth Project sustain its public education campaign to reduce first-time Meth use in the state.
In 2007, the company issued a similar challenge. During that effort, Montana Contractors' Association members pledged $74,200 within 10 days, resulting in gifts totaling nearly $125,000.
"Once again, Martel Construction is leading the way for Montana businesses to help combat Meth, one of the most highly addictive drugs available," said Mike Gulledge, Chairman of the Montana Meth Project. "Thanks to Martel's support, the Montana Meth Project is able to continue our advertising and outreach to prevent teens from ever trying meth."
Martel Construction also has supported Montana Meth Project community outreach activities including the March Against Meth last February, and Black Saturday at the Montana High School Rodeo Finals in June.
